The Bishop Darcy W. Abbott and his wife Pat have three sons, D.J., Paul & Benjamin.  All three have attended Lee University  in Cleveland, Tenn. which is our denomination's liberal arts school.  Their oldest son  (D.J.)  and his wife Betsy are music ministers in Lexington, NC.  At the present time, Paul and Benjamin live at home.  Paul has a B.S. in Computer Science and works for NIH.  Benjamin works locally for Panera Bread.  They are both involved in the church's puppet ministry!  The Abbott's also have a daughter, who didn't quite make it to this world  -  she was still-born  -  and is today in the presence of the Good Lord.   Pastor Abbott and his wife were born in Hagerstown, MD & Lexington, NC respectively.  They have been our ministry team for a little over seven years.  Pastor Abbott has a B.S. in Pastoral Ministries from East Coast Bible College and Pat is presently employed by USA Today.

We believe in the whole Bible rightly divided and we believe that the New Testament is to be our guide for how the church ought to operate.  The fourteen statements of faith that we as a church believe can be found on the Declaration of Faith  page.  We are a church that will welcome you and your family and when you attend, we want to be your pastor, family & friend !
